Short Description	Established in 2013, AgroTransilvania Cluster has 33 members and among these can be found both agro-industrial companies, but also universities as Research&Development bodies, like Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca and public institutions- Teritorial-Administrative Unit of Cluj County and Cluj-Napoca Chamber of Commerce and Industry.The mission of the AgroTransilvania Cluster is to promote collaboration and cooperation between business entities in the agro-industrial sector and encouraging competitive restructuring of the sector, as well as ensuring participation in multiple commercial project, both national and international. In this regard, members of the “Agro-Food-Ind Napoca Cluster” decided to join forces to support the development of the agro-industrial sector, with the aim to build on the competitiveness of the association – both on the national and international markets.

We offer	The value chain generated by the “AgroTransilvania Cluster” is not limited to market food products, but largely integrates the entire agribusiness system locally and regionally. The value chain is starting from the agricultural and food industry suppliers or general suppliers of inputs (such as services, equipment, tools and instruments, etc.). The role of these members of the cluster is to meet the needs of the food producers and processors in the areas of productive activity in which they operate. In this direction, the production processes are being optimized and the cluster members gain added value in the domain of agro-industrial production.Thus, AgroTransilvania Cluster can provide the following:-development of a harmonious interaction between all stakeholders operating in the value chain in the agro-industrial complex. -develop a platform for research, development and innovation (drive the private sector towards innovation and technology transfer). -support and promote project of common interest, including projects abroad. -developing partnerships at home and abroad to achieve the objectives of the association. -identify opportunities for collaboration towards financial support through various programs, partnerships, tools and / or banking operations. -organization and participation / forums, symposiums, conferences, seminars, debates, etc., in the country or abroad.
We ask for	Promoting a positive image of the cluster in order to attract new members. Attracting new members especially in the areas where the value chain of the cluster presents a shortage of a certain agro-industrial specialization. Develop a comprehensive network in the industry and its promotion towards stakeholders and the general public by participating in specific events dedicated to the agro-industrial sector. Integrating cluster members in the value chain to reduce production costs and raising funds for cluster’s development. Developing a brand promoted locally and regionally, to be known and appreciated by consumers. Promote the need for quality certifications of the cluster and business partners, mainly to those partners who have high standards of quality certificates.
