Short Description	The Rhône-Alpes region, lying in the South-East of France, boasts many assets: innovation clusters with an international focus, talent pools, networks of innovative professionals, the vitality of the region’s markets, its strategic location (confining with Italy and Switzerland) and its excellent infrastructures Some key figures: 6th highest GDP in Europe  2nd French region for export and foreign investments (9,000 ex-porters companies and 4,600 foreign companies)  350,000 companies including  2nd best capacity for fairs and seminars in France  2nd region in France for higher education & training  2nd region for touristic destination in FranceCreated in 1987 at the initiative of the Rhône-Alpes Regional Council, ERAI is the region’s spearhead for international economic development and the reinforcement of the attractiveness of Rhône-Alpes. ERAI counts 27 offices in 21 countries around the world and 150 people mobilized for the internationalization of all economic actors of the region and the promotion of its territory. Its missions pivot around 4 main axes: International business support: ERAI offers a range of custom-made services to gain market share in export business, to set up a sustaina-ble structure and identify the best financing solutions. Promotion of the Region: ERAI provides customized solutions for foreign investors who set up in Rhône-Alpes. Regional and Competitiveness Clusters: ERAI supports them in their international development. Rhône-Alpes counts 22 clusters in different sectors : renewable energies and energy efficiency in buildings, green chemistry, life sciences and medical devices, aeronautics, automotive, urban transports, mechanics, technical textiles, plastics, micro- and nanotechnologies, software, multimedia, organic products, sport and mountain equipment. Cooperation and international relations: ERAI aims at enhancing the international economic influence of the Rhône-Alpes region in the world.

We offer	We assist foreign companies in their plan to invest in France and worldwide through our global network, through: • Market surveys and feasibility studies (information on the key players (competitors, suppliers, clusters) and the distribution networks, lists of qualified potential commercial partners…)  Search for potential partners (sales agents, distributors, deal-ers, wholesalers)  Setup in the Rhone-Alpes region (Merger and acquisition, Green field investment, Recruiting, Accounting and fiscal ser-vices)According to the request, we might create links between foreign clusters and Rhône-Alpes ones, in order to explore potential fields of cooperation.To conclude, we have un Implantis® incubator network (http://www.implantis.com/?lang=en) in more than 20 countries abroad, open to French and foreign companies, and managed by experts of international development. 2 options are available: • Implantis® light : Business and mailing address • Implantis® : Professional accommodation and support of your representative
