Iulian Basu is a funding consultant since 2004. He was in charge of two consulting firms regarding european funding and two private research institutions. Iulian is the founder of two active NGOs that activate in the research, industry and lobby for european business fields. Starting with 2014, he is a partner of the online platform www.businessangels.ro. He has an active role in courses and conferences regarding  negotiation, public acquisitions, european funds and communication and mediating conflicts.
He has written and implemented funding projects from European Union and the Romanian Government, funds for industry, research, information technology, the development of SMEs and microenterprises from urban and rural areas, projects of fundamental research and applicative research up until the prototype phase.
Iulian is a project manager and an expert in the project implementation team for human resources development for the development of the rural areas. He is in constant contact with local authorities from all areas of the country and with authorities pertaining to management and implementation bodies of funding programs from european and national funds.
He is an expert contributor in program evaluation and project implementation. Also, he is an expert in the appropriation procedures of public acquisition contracts.
